As part of McLennan Community College’s Continuing Education Program, we offer an Estate Planning and Asset Protection Planning class each semester. The class meets twice a week for two hours each night. In this class, we cover the basics of estate planning with wills, trusts, and related documents. We also cover issues related to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Additionally, we cover what you need to know about how Texas law protects your assets and what you can do to protect those assets not automatically protected under Texas law.
